Jason Hegna, vice president of sales for Shaw Media, became chairman of the Illinois Press Association Board of Directors during the board meeting Dec. 5, 2025.  He succeeds Durrell Garth, publisher of the Chicago Citizen Newspaper Group.   Also, at the December board meeting, Stefanie Anderson, senior vice president of Paddock Publication & general manager of Southern IL LOCAL Media Group became the board's interim vice chair.  Jim Slonoff, publisher of The Hinsdalean was voted in as treasurer.     Read more
